Ferrari is a name that holds power. It is a symbol of wealth. All that we already know, but there are some things you don’t know. Like the creator is named Enzo Ferrari and that he was born February 18, 1898 near Modena, Italy. He was set on being a race car driver at the age of ten. He achieved this goal around 1915. He raced in a lot of races and came in second in the Targa Florio of the year 1920. He also landed a job with Alfa Romeo. Though he was in contact with Alfa he only produced a couple of cars with his name and logo. He had a good run with Alfa, but it could not last forever. In 1940 he left the company and started his own called Auto-Avio Costruzioni Ferrari. This was during World War 2, and his workshop soon became the target of bombs in 1944. After the war in 1946 he rebuilt his workshop and came up with his first model called the 125 Sport. This car started the tradition of winning and Ferrari was quite pleased with his model. Since the first race in 1947 Ferraris across the nation have won over 5,000 races. Ferrari led a good life and alas it could not last forever. In Modena, Italy August 14, 1988 he passed away. Before he did that he put a lasting impression on the car world we know today.
