Question by sham p: Two cars cover the same distance in a straight line. Car A covers the distance at a constant velocity.?
Two cars cover the same distance in a straight line. Car A covers the distance at a constant velocity. Car B starts from rest, maintains a constant acceleration, and covers the distance in the same time as car A.
(a) Is car B’s final velocity smaller than, equal to, or greater than car A’s constant velocity?
(B) Is car B’s average velocity smaller than, equal to, or greater than car A’s constant velocity?
(c) Given a value for the time t to cover the distance and the fact that car B starts from rest, what other variable must be known before car B’s acceleration can be determined?
1. its initial velocity 2. no other variables need to be known
3. its final velocity
Best answer:
Answer by Maverick Well, here is my shot. A. Car B’s final velocity should be greater than car A’s constant velocity.
B. Car B’s average velocity should be greater than car A’s constant Velocity.
C. No other variables need to be known.
I am probably wrong, but this all makes sense to me.

Question by vol_jadzia: Is Quixx High Performance Scratch Remover Any Good?
Consumer Reports supposedly rated it the best scratch remover on the market.
Has anyone used it? If so, can you tell me how good it is. How well does it work or not work for Saturns, especially a 2008 VUE XE?
Best answer:
Answer by Hampster Breath I’m wondering about that too. I saw how this comparison test made the news and I’d like to buy some of this stuff now and hopefully save lots of $$$$ by not dragging my motorcycle to the body shop.

Dear Tom and Ray:I recently drove about a thousand miles without my oil cap. It’s a 2005 Toyota Sequoia, and I was off-road for about 10 days at the same time. When I got home, no oil cap! (Human error all the way.) I checked the oil, and it was good all the way to the “full” mark, and there’s no oil on top of the engine, or even on the underside of the hood. As I drove, I didn’t see any drop in … Read more on Dayton Daily News

Some of my PS2 discs are scratched up and don’t work on my PS2. Is buying a scratch remover work better or is there another way? I tried using the toothpaste way on one my discs, hearing that it works. Didn’t work. It just made the disc messier. I found that out at the PlayStation Official Forum Site… Or am I hopelessly doomed and I have to resell them at like Gamestop or something?

Question by Superdrol: Can I use a scratch remover to fix chipped paint on my car ?
I asked a question earlier and the answers I got for it indicated that I chipped the paint.
I accidently backed up into a post and it created static/cracked appearance lines which was stated as being chipped paint due to the plastic flexing. (there is to visible damage to the plastic, just ripple lines).
I was wondering if I could use some kind of scratch remover or something to that effect to blend in the paint or if it really needs to be repainted to be fixed. Thanks !

Question by Shift: is this a good deal for this old car?
how much would a 1973 Dodge Challenger go for? here’s the info on the car:
http://www.usedcalgary.com/classified-ad/9135994
I emailed the owner and this is what i got
“The parts include headers (in the box), new transmission shift kit (in the box), extra tires (Eagle GT’s matching the set on the car) and some very hard to find items: original new exhaust tips, virtually all new origina lchrome trim strips, original set of strobe stripes, etc.
The car is in great shape to just keep driving, a very easy restoration. The interior is original. The back seat still has the original seat coverson it. The dash has no cracks.”
they said they want around 20,000 for it is that a fair price?
heres what is on the add 340 4bbl, slapstick auto, reconditioned 15″ Rallye wheels with Eagle GT rubber, rebuilt steering box, new shocks, rebuilt brakes, silicone brake fluid, interior and body excellent, almost no rust
look at the site thats there because to me it looks like the passenger door looks damaged
